This has got to be the weirdest day of Quidditch in the history of Hogwarts. So the snitch was released at 12 noon Pacific time. While everyone was waiting for some notice that the snitch was released, the lil bugger was caught by one of the Puffballs. Okay, so it was our own bloody fault for waiting too long to start searching. Mass confusion and frustration ensued and now there will be a second release of the snitch this upcoming Wednesday. At least the 'Puffs will keep the points they earned today for being very clever and not waiting. The upcoming round will be bonus points. But I am still seriously considering tossing my broomstick into the fireplace in the common room.
