Saturday Sky from Hillsboro, OregonCinco de Mayo is the day that the Mexican militia were victorious over the French army at The Battle of Puebla (Puebla, Mexico - sister city to Pueblo, Colorado) in 1862. This day is often mistaken for Mexico's Independance Day which does not occur until September 16th.
